Profile

The Missionary Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo - Scalabrinians - are nuns totally consecrated to God through the profession of the evangelical counsels of chastity, poverty and obedience. They live radically following Jesus, testifying the joy of the risen Lord to migrants, mainly to the poor and needy. They are also involved in the catechesis, in the Christian education, in the health pastoral, in the social pastoral, in the field of research and cultural animation.

To be always available to the mission that God entrusts them - the mission to testify the faithful love of the Father for dispersed mankind - the Missionary Sisters of St. Carlo Borromeo Scalabrinian bind themselves to be humble, simple, available, ready to leave everything and move. They are also willing to acquire a universal mentality enabling them to understand new cultures and new environments and to promote the authentic values.

Their life dedicated to migrants becomes a source of communion and dialogue between migrants and local people.
