Missionary activity

The Congregation is becoming increasingly international because of the diversity of origin, language and culture of the Scalabrinian Sisters  that compose it.

The internationality, pluralism of forms and of methods used, the mission itself that inplies insertion into the local pastoral oblige the Missionary Scalabrinian Sisters to deepen those unifying values that enable them to live unity in diversity.

The Sister finds the inspiring force of her missionary vocation to become migrant with migrants especially in the Word of God and in the Eucharist, the source of communion with God and with migrant brothers.

The teaching of the Church, the writings of the Founder - the Servant of God Giovanni Battista Scalabrini - and of the co founders - Father Joseph Marchetti and the Servant of God Mother Assunta Marchetti - the tradition and spirituality of the Congregation all help the Missionary Scalabrinian Sister to pay attention to the needs and evolution of the time in order to respond better to the challenges of human mobility.

In community life, the experience of fraternal life becomes a reflection of the Trinity love, where humility, meekness, mutual acceptance and attention strengthen the bond of Christian peace and friendship.
