Through a scientific study and research and regular monitoring of statistical data on the phenomenon of migration, both at European and local level, CEDOMIS promotes a cultural understanding of the challenge that migration today raises before public institutions, ecclesiastical, social and educational agencies and citizens, in the light of the Scalabrinian vision of migration to elicit appropriate responses. CEDOMIS also offers a site of collection-documentation of migrants' "knowledge" and various events, studies and publications regarding migration.
